Marc Chiarella

Marc is very passionate about Football. Having played and coached since he was 5 years old, now Marc’s young girl and boy are both keen footballers, and his wife an administrator for the local Football club.
Marc says that Football provided him with many skills that he uses in family life, socially and in his professional career:
“Football taught me how to interact with everyone, the importance of working together as a team, how critical setting goals and time management is, and, that there is no substitute for “smart” hard-work.”
Eager to give back to the game that has given so much to him, Marc says:
“The founders of the IFA have in common the betterment of the game in Australia by focusing on the development of young players in a safe, affordable, collaborative, convenient, diverse and technical Footballing environment. I simply had to help their cause.”
Professionally, Marc is recognised for his deep understanding of identifying and managing risk. He has executive roles and holds board positions in organisations across many sectors including the financial services, legal, hospitality, real estate and investment industries. Marc has a Bachelor of Law, a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, Diploma of Business and Financial Services. Marc is licenced to practice in the Supreme Court of NSW and the High Court of Australia. He is a member of the Australian Insurance Law Association, the Law Society of NSW, the National Insurance Brokers Association and the Australian Professional Indemnity Group.
